Rare Studios has unveiled the launch date with a thrilling promotional video, showcasing the epic highlight of this expansion: the infernal volcanic zone known as “Devil’s Roar.”

Embark on tales of exaggeration spun by lone survivors, painting a picture of a fiery deathtrap where no sailor returns unscathed. The video also offers a sneak peek at the new content that awaits players.

Every shimmering spell, armor, and ship part boasts a unique style, while pirate face tattoos now offer a plethora of new customization options. The addition of rowboats to the game introduces a fresh way for players to land or depart from the beach (since the beach is now boiling over due to volcanic eruptions).

And what’s more, a special guest star, the crab Scuttles (Scuttles The Crab), makes a grand appearance at the end. With the crab’s presence in the previous two trailers, it seems he or she might just make a real appearance in the game one day.
